Special Trees in Tottenham
Bruce Castle OakBruce Castle Park, Tottenham's first public park, is home to the oldest tree in Tottenham, after the yew trees in the grounds of the nearby All Hallow Church; an ancient sessile oak tree which is over 450 years old.
In 2009 work was undertaken on the oak tree to ensure its preservation, but in 2011 the tree suffered further damage when a large branch broke off. The Tottenham Trees logo on the right shows the now asymmetrical silhouette of the Bruce Castle Oak along with the logo of the Charter for Trees, Woods and People.
