promoting the use of Alexandra Park
      encouraging conservation of wildlife
protecting the Park from unwanted development
The Friends regularly organise tree walks to help park users learn more about the many different trees in the Park.
Anyone interested in trees is welcome to join these walks, which are publicised on the Friends’ website.

Finsbury Park
The Friends of Finsbury Park is a charity that was formed by people who care about Finsbury Park – its past, present and future.

Queen's Wood
The Friends of Queen's Wood is a voluntary group that assists Haringey Counci in looking after the wood working in partnership with Haringey's nature conservation officer.

Wild about Our Woods - getting more people outdoors into local woodlands in Haringey and Barnet. We passionately believe that strengthening our connection to nature supports well-being & unlocks potential for fulfilling, happy & enriched lives. In addition to this when we respect nature, we conserve it for future generations. We want to build a stronger community by breaking down barriers to participation in woodlands activities.  Our work includes delivering Forest School sessions within school in the area and running monthly Sunday family woodland session in Queens Wood and Coppetts Wood. We are excited about starting new work with young people in local woodlands to improve their well being too. Find out more via the website www.wildaboutourwoods.com or Facebook page Wild about our woods.

Railway Fields
The Friends of Railway Fields are a voluntary group dedicated to preserving and maintaining the beautiful Railway Fields local nature reserve in Harringay, Green Lanes.

Westbury Banks Nature Reserve
The Westbury Banks Nature Reserve; a green natural space for the community.

There are regular community workshops.

In Tottenham seven trees were planted in a ring over 400 years ago for reasons lost in time; the Seven Sisters area and the underground station are named after them. The seven trees have been replanted a number of times, always by seven sisters.

The Tottenham Trees logo, shown on the right, is a silhouette of the Bruce Castle Oak with the logo of the Charter for Trees, Woods and People launched in November 2017, on the 800th anniversary of the Royal Charter of the Forest.
