Celebrating trees in Tottenham during the first
London National Park City week: 21 - 29 July 2018

Tottenham Trees Tree ID walk
Bruce Castle Park
Friday 27th July 7pm to 8:15pm
An Old Oak, a New Oak and Exotic Trees
There are no trees in the Antarctic, but we will show you an Antarctic Beech. Nettles are not trees, but we will look at a Nettle Tree. Tulips are bulbs, but we will admire a Tulip Tree. Just a taste of the exotic trees in Bruce Castle Park that we will encounter on our walk. As to Tottenham's oldest Oak - we will stand by and hear about its age and events that have celebrated it and we'll contrast it with a recent celebratory planting of a young oak while finding out about the Tottenham Trees group.
We will end the walk at the Community-owned pub on the edge of the park, The Antwerp Arms, where food and drink will be on offer for those in need.
Led by Stephen Middleton
Meet in front of Bruce Castle Museum, Lordship Lane, London N17 8NU.
No Booking Required
