Russell Miller: Bruce Castle Park Tree Walk
Guided walk looking at trees and ecology of Bruce Castle Park with eco activist and teacher Russell Miller.Russell  introduced us to the oldest and most unusual trees in this historic park. He talked about tree identification, how trees grow and age, fungi and ecology.  Russell teaches deep nature connection by explaining the magical complex web of life that can be experienced anywhere if you know where to look.

Catherine Collingborn: The Wood at Lordship Rec
Catherine will outline the history and development of this recent piece of woodland and the relationship between the Friends group and the council on maintaining the wood.

In Tottenham seven trees were planted in a ring over 400 years ago for reasons lost in time; the Seven Sisters area and the underground station are named after them. The seven trees have been replanted a number of times, always by seven sisters. 

The Tottenham Trees logo, shown on the right, is a silhouette of the Bruce Castle Oak with the logo of the Charter for Trees, Woods and People launched in November 2017, on the 800th anniversary of the Royal Charter of the Forest.
